Deepali Kumawat, Founder, SkillupLemon | Digital Marketing Consultant & Corporate Trainer
Deepali Kumawat is a Digital Marketing strategist who wears many hats. As the founder of SkillupLemon, she’s built her career around solving real marketing challenges for brands that matter. Over the past five years, she’s worked with everyone from universities and healthcare institutions to startups making waves in competitive markets.
Her journey has taken her across sectors and geographies. Whether she’s been helping educational institutions like Poornima University and IIHMR build their presence, or navigating the fast-paced Dubai market with agencies and brands like Al Wajaha and Gateway, she’s consistently focused on delivering results that actually move the needle. She’s even had the privilege of supporting growth for ventures like Eventbeep, which made it onto Shark Tank.
But what really drives Deepali is the belief that marketing expertise shouldn’t stay locked behind closed doors. For over two and a half years, she’s been in classrooms and conference halls—mentoring at institutions like IIIM Jaipur, Subodh College, and Poornima College. She’s passionate about bridging that gap between textbook theory and the practical strategies that actually drive revenue. Her aim is simple: equip the next generation of marketers with skills they can use from day one.

Our Story: From Frustration to a Mission
Five years ago, I enrolled in a digital marketing course here in Jaipur, filled with excitement and hope that thrills everyone to do something in life. I attended every session, took notes, completed assignments, and genuinely believed I was building the foundation of my career. I walked out thinking I was prepared & ready to enter in the real world.
But my first day in the corporate world showed me the truth.
Nothing I’d learned in that classroom prepared me for what awaited me in the real world. The gap wasn’t just wide—it was a chasm. While my institute had taught me theory and definitions, my company needed solutions and strategy. While I’d completed assignments in isolation, the industry demanded collaboration and creative thinking. There were no case studies that matched real-world challenges. No one reviewed my work with critical eyes. No one taught me how to communicate my ideas or carry myself as a professional in a competitive space.
I felt betrayed by the disconnect. But more importantly, I felt determined to change it.
But that feeling pushed me to grow and I wanted to learn from real experiences instead of boring notes because I realized that it won’t last long if I want to make a carrer.
Growing Through 35+ Real Brand Stories
In the last five years, I’ve worked with more than 35 national and international brands from Poornima University and IIHMR Delhi to Gateway Car Rental and Luxury Car Rental in Dubai. Every project taught me something I could never find in a textbook.
These brands became my mentors. Every challenge, failure, and win shaped me into the marketer I am today.
Along the way, I was invited to speak at institutions like IIIMs Jaipur, Poornima University, and Subodh College. Every time I met students, I saw the same struggle. I once felt that desire for real learning and the frustration of getting only theory.
That’s when I realized the solution was in front of me.
